Welcome to Chabad of Nashville, a vibrant center for Jewish life and learning established in 1999. Under the dedicated leadership of Rabbi Yitzchok Tiechtel and his wife Esther, along with their five children, we are proud to serve the Nashville Jewish community with warmth and dedication.
Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where Jews of all backgrounds can explore their heritage, traditions, and spirituality. We strive to foster a sense of community and belonging, offering a rich array of programs and services designed to meet the diverse needs of our members.
Departments
Hebrew School
Our Hebrew School provides a nurturing and engaging environment for children to develop a strong foundation in Jewish knowledge and values. Through a hands-on curriculum, students learn about Jewish history, holidays, and traditions while building their Hebrew language skills.
Tzivos Hashem of Nashville
Tzivos Hashem is our youth program that inspires children to take pride in their Jewish identity and practice Mitzvot. With exciting activities, events, and educational experiences, Tzivos Hashem aims to cultivate a lifelong love for Judaism among our young members.
The Revere Jewish Montessori Preschool
The Revere Jewish Montessori Preschool offers an exceptional early childhood education rooted in Jewish values. Our Montessori approach fosters independence, creativity, and a love for learning, ensuring that each child’s unique potential is nurtured in a warm and supportive environment.
Our Services
Chabad of Nashville is dedicated to serving the community through a wide range of spiritual, educational, and social services. We offer Adult Education programs that cater to individuals at all levels of Jewish learning, from beginners to advanced scholars. Our Campus Chabad House provides a home away from home for Jewish students at local universities, offering support, activities, and a sense of community.
Our Synagogue is a place of worship and gathering, welcoming Jews of all backgrounds to pray and celebrate together. The Library offers a rich collection of Jewish texts and resources for study and research. Our After School Programs, Teen Club, and Children's Club provide a safe and engaging environment for young people to learn and grow in their Jewish identity.
We are committed to supporting all age groups within our community. The Senior Club & Study offers educational and social activities for seniors, promoting lifelong learning and connection. Bar/Bat Mitzvah Instruction and the Bat Mitzvah Club prepare young people for these significant milestones in their Jewish journey.
Our Holiday Awareness Programs and Hands-on Holiday Programming bring the joy and meaning of Jewish holidays to life for all ages. We also offer Communal Lectures and One-on-One Study sessions to deepen Jewish knowledge and understanding.
Chabad of Nashville provides practical services including Mezuzah and Tefillin Checking, Kitchen Koshering, and Circumcision. We are there for our community in times of need with Hospital Visitation, Prison Visitation, Hospital Chaplaincy, Military Chaplaincy, and Prison Chaplaincy. Our Regular Classes, Seniors Visitation, and Marriage Prep programs further enrich the lives of our community members.
We support life’s milestones with Funeral Services, Weddings, and Bar Mitzvah Club celebrations. The Women's Group fosters community and learning among the women of our congregation. Through Humanitarian Aid and Publications, we extend our reach and impact beyond our immediate community. Shabbat/Holiday Hospitality ensures everyone has a place to celebrate and connect.
